The print is limited edition of original artwork made by bouncing basketball in paint on canvas. Art was done by Bill Russell. My print is #0071, art was created in 1980, limited run of prints done and signed in 1984. Question is if Russell ever used initials as signture anywhere else.
hmmm they only thing i remember is hearing a story on Outside the Lines or something about him not signing autographs, just shaking peoples hands. surely hes autographed a few things. i bet thats valuable.

Why am I writing this message to the world? I am doing my component to be heard and seen as a fellow artist and visual creator who's still around and not that old, and would like to create a positive change in a stale existence of the art world. There should be no more innovative starving artists. Accurate talented visual artists really should not strive and struggle in poverty all their lives. We artists must be recognized and nicely rewarded throughout our lives, inside the same way as movie stars; performers or even ball players get their recognitions and rewards. Art dealers really should no more sell original art pieces from artists which are no longer here to benefit from the sales. No far more art dealers selling past artists original works for massive amount of funds.
