Origins of the forms of art had been found in ancient caves that date back thousands of years, in mankind's infancy. And pictography was the very first way of communicating among early humans. As far as we know, it was the only strategy to communicate just before the spoken and written languages had been developed. Pictography was a main approach of communication. Pictures of animals or hunters on the caves' walls has been dated to be far more than twenty thousand years old and is ancient proof that pictography has been a basic form of communication.
Oil painting mediums are easily readily available for any person, yet this has caused a loss in artistry. Nevertheless, only a handful of painters are skilled with aptitude in painting techniques. Essentially, nearly anyone can perform paintings in spite of one's skill or encounter but the actual art of oil painting has lost its originality. This is for the reason that the number of artists who take the trouble to educate themselves into practicing the artistry of oil painting medium are obtaining smaller.

Still life exam tomorrow, any advise or tips would be amazing!?
We have to do a shiny teapot, with a wine bottle and arrangement of fruit on a chopping board basically.
The paints are those big pot paints and I personally dont like the consistincy or effect they create.
Any advice on how to do a good composition, more by the painting technique rather than the way its arranged. I think the point of the picture is reflections on the teapot if that helps xx
Do not neglect to do thumbnail sketches, value sketches and a color study . . . these steps can save a lot of time and heartache by preventing time spent working on a composition that ultimately doesn't work. Remember to make good use of negative space. Think of your piece in terms of how much light each surface is exposed to as you plan values. If you are setting this up yourself, be sure your light source gives you the best light and dark patterns, and I would include a colored drapery on the shadow side to give some nice reflected light colors. Remember that objects want to overlap to look naturally placed, and you want to leave some space as well. Do not ever include "what is that?" kinds of objects in your still life, and work from general to specific, leaving highlights and details toward then end.
And remember to begin with the larger masses and work toward the smaller one, but also to work the whole painting as you go, to achieve more unity.

Within the words of a renowned Russian writer, philosopher Lev Tolstoy; "An artist will need to be able to draw, paint, sculpt design anything, and only then are they a true talented fine artist." Creative artists are like wild horses, nobody controls us. Creative artists are able to fly high in their imagination, we let our creativity loose. We do not know any tactics, errors, rules and regulations. We innovate, attempt and discover spontaneously, every little thing is new and diverse every time we are at work. Creativity is very important; this is what keeps the world going. Art is more than just a simple expression but rather it really is thought frozen in colorful handworked magic just like the Fruit Still Life you might see on this page.
A fantastic example of a creative artist is Leonardo De Vinci, an Italian man who lived five hundred years ago and is still well known. There's no singer or dancer who lived five hundred years ago and is still recognized, this is direct proof that Fine Visual Art will be the highest form of art above all other categories of art which includes performing art.. Leonardo's natural talent and abilities have their mark on progress in art, architecture, technology and science. The first transportation unit, which was then the bicycle, was invented by Leonardo De Vinci. He was so remarkable that his function still remains a mystery and is active in scientific studies currently, like his paintings of Mona Lisa and her mysterious smile, his numerous technological inventions and working prototypes and scientific discoveries.
